The EvolvePlus Overhead ToF People Counter solution leverages cutting-edge Time-of-Flight technology to deliver precise people counting for a wide range of environments, including retail stores, shopping centres, libraries, galleries, museums, offices and commercial buildings. With the Overhead ToF People Counter, you can easily track and analyse foot traffic in your facility, allowing you to make informed decisions about staffing, marketing, and operations. The counter is easy to install and use, and the user-friendly Cloud Dashboard allows you to view real-time data and generate reports.
The Overhead ToF People Counter is equipped with advanced sensors that use near-infrared light reflection and AI, to accurately measure the distance between the sensor and the object. This technology allows for highly precise measurements, ensuring up to 99% accuracy for foot traffic counts.
The sensors also provide advantage features, including counts for adults/children (based on height), staff detection, U-turn filtering and GDPR compliant with anonymous detection.

Overhead ToF People Counter Sensors
The Overhead ToF People Counter sensor features a compact design to seamlessly integrate into any environment, and leverage ToF (time of flight) technology for superior accuracy.
The sensor can be installed in ceiling heights between 2.5m and 3.5m (with an optional mounting arm for higher ceilings) and incorporates Power over Ethernet (PoE+), which combines data connectivity and power supply in one cable. Optional WiFi adapters and 4G PoE+modems are also available.

The Overhead ToF People Counter sensor provides the following analytics:
- In/Out counting across multiple count lines
- Occupancy Inside
- Adult/children counting based on height range (separate counts based on min/max heights)
- Staff counting (using lanyard detection)

The cloud delivered EvolvePlus Dashboard allows users to analyse data in both Chart and Report formats by hour, day, week, month.
This valuable information reveals peak traffic periods to determine optimal operating hours and staffing requirements, as well as assisting with calculating peak visitor times and sales conversion ratios. It is optimised to handle multiple locations and scalable so that additional sensors can be added at any time.
Also available is the Occupancy / People Inside web app which calculates the current occupancy and displays the total number of people in the venue at any one time. The live count total (with a prominent large occupancy number) is displayed on a range of output displays including large monitors and tablets.
